Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc. seeks an Engineer to design natural gas facilities for replacement and upgrades, determine mains, develop project packages, and coordinate with construction and operations teams. The role includes bidding, permitting, and material procurement, plus after-hours on-call duties as needed.

The incumbent will support field operations, apply design standards, and contribute to safe, economical project delivery across the service area in PA and nearby markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering required.
• Experience with gas design and pipeline projects preferred.
• Proficient with design software and estimation tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and plan replacement/betterment projects for gas facilities.
• Coordinate with capital construction teams and permitting processes.
• Prepare bid packages and cost estimates for projects.
• Provide technical advisory support during construction and post-project review.
• Act as on-call Duty Supervisor after required training.
