Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc. is seeking an Engineer to design natural gas facilities for replacement and upgrades, and coordinate bidding, permitting and material obtainment. You will act as a technical advisor to construction teams and support field operations.

The role includes project management, on-call duties, and collaboration with Capital Construction, Operations, and other stakeholders. A Bachelor or Master s Degree in Engineering is required; EIT preferred; experience levels range from Engineer

Qualifications

Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering.
Experience in an engineering position (energy or utility experience preferred).
Engineer I: 0-2 years; Engineer II: 2-3 years; Engineer III: 4+ years; EIT preferred; Future PE License preferred.

Responsibilities

Design replacement and betterment projects for gas systems.
Coordinate design priorities with capital construction and operations.
Prepare bid packages, permitting and material procurement.
Provide field support and project management during installations.
Act as crew supervisor on a rotating on-call basis.
Represent the Company at meetings with the State, municipalities and contractors.
Assist Area Engineering on various projects.
