Job summary

Selby Jennings in New York seeks a senior operations leader to oversee launched cross-border evergreen private credit funds. You will manage cash forecasting, capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and liquidity planning to ensure optimal fund performance and investor satisfaction.

The role requires extensive experience in private credit fund operations, fund finance oversight, and a deep understanding of direct lending, with a focus on scalable processes and advanced AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in private credit fund operations, fund finance, or fund accounting oversight.
• Strong understanding of direct lending and distressed credit investments.
• Experience with evergreen fund structures and their operational requirements.
• Knowledge of fund structures, allocations, capital activity, liquidity management, valuations, and fee calculations.
• Experience launching or managing complex private market investment vehicles.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage external service providers.
• Experience leveraging technology, automation, and AI to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support the launch and ongoing oversight of a cross-border evergreen private credit fund.
• Manage cash forecasting, capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and liquidity planning.
• Oversee fund models, performance reporting, fee calculations, and investor allocations.
• Ensure compliance with fund governing documents, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support investor reporting, due diligence requests, and management presentations.
• Enhance controls, reporting processes, data governance, and operational workflows. Partner with Portfolio Management, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Accounting, and Investor Relations teams.
• Identify and resolve operational risks while driving scalable process improvements
