Job summary

Nordic Semiconductor seeks a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join the Product Engineering team in Boston, leading the nRF Cloud platform. You will guide frontend React/TypeScript and Python backends, shaping architecture and roadmap for scalable IoT device monitoring and updates.

You will mentor engineers, drive cross-functional collaboration with product and design, and push for high-impact, system-level improvements to support rapid growth and reliable device deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and shipping web applications in production at staff/principal level.
• Deep expertise across stack: React/TypeScript frontends, Python backends, Postgres/ClickHouse and AWS.
• Experience influencing technical direction beyond your immediate team; architecture decisions and mentorship.
• Nice to have familiarity with IoT platforms, device management, or embedded tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end initiatives from discovery through production.
• Own problems and partner with product and design as a peer.
• Design and scale systems across frontend, backend, cloud, and data platforms.
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards across the team.
