Salesforce is seeking a senior engineer to lead the technical design and end-to-end delivery of AI-first observability features. You will collaborate with Product Management, mentor engineers, and drive cross-team alignment on data ingestion, telemetry performance, and platform strategy.
The role requires hands-on Java and React development, deep experience with OpenTelemetry, and the ability to build dashboards and tooling for large telemetry stores at scale.
Unified Observability is being built with an AI-first engineering strategy. AI assistants are core to how we design, write, review, test, and operate our software. Engineers on this team are expected to:
We’re looking for engineers who are genuinely curious about AI as a craft tool, and want to push the boundary on what an AI-augmented team can shipA collaborative, low-ego working style.
