Deckers Brands is seeking a Principal, Financial Operations & Software Asset Management to own governance of FinOps and SAM programs. You will translate complex financial data into actionable guidance and lead through expertise and collaboration across Finance, Engineering, Product, and Security.

You will design dashboards and reporting to reveal cost drivers, optimize licenses, and drive value while maintaining strong governance and cost controls across cloud and software platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, Eng, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive FinOps, cloud financial management, or SAM experience.
• Experience establishing governance and reporting in complex, matrixed organizations.

Aufgaben

• Own and continually improve Deckers’ enterprise FinOps processes and governance.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Product, and Architecture to embed FinOps practices.
• Design reusable dashboards, scorecards, and allocation views for cost visibility.
• Define metrics, data definitions, tagging, and reporting standards for cost transparency.
• Mature SAM processes across software licenses, SaaS, renewals, and usage.
• Identify opportunities to reclaim unused licenses and optimize subscriptions.
• Analyze cloud and software consumption to surface cost drivers and risks.
• Develop recommendations balancing cost, performance, and security for stakeholders.
• Maintain an optimization pipeline and track cost savings and value.
