Overview

Worley Consulting is seeking a Principal Financial Advisory Consultant - Top-Tier Business Developer to join our team in New York. We operate globally, addressing complex energy and resource challenges through innovative strategies and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities
  1. Generate over $5M in annual consulting revenue by leveraging relationships with C-suite executives in PE firms, banks, and institutional investors.
  2. Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, translating their strategies into actionable advisory projects aligned with ESG and sustainability standards.
  3. Drive the growth of Worley Consulting’s Financial Advisory practice through strategic leadership, talent acquisition, and industry representation.
  4. Lead complex projects ensuring high quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction, including proposal development and project planning.
  5. Enhance brand visibility through thought leadership activities such as speaking engagements and industry publications.
  6. Innovate by developing new tools and methodologies for economic and technical modeling in lender advisory services.
  7. Embed sustainability and safety principles into all activities, supporting clients' net-zero and sustainability goals.
  8. Travel as necessary for client meetings and project fieldwork.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years in Financial Advisory, with expertise in M&A, debt financing, lender advisory, or ESG financing.
  • Proven top-tier business development experience, generating over $5M annually.
  • Extensive network in New York’s PE, banking, or investment sectors with established C-level relationships.
  • Experience at a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, or boutique advisory firm in senior roles.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of energy, infrastructure, refining, petrochemicals, renewables, and energy transition financing.
  • Education: MBA, BS in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Certifications like CFA or CPA are advantageous.
Skills and Attributes
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with C-suite engagement.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership in cross-functional, multicultural teams under tight deadlines.
