Overview
Worley Consulting is seeking a Principal Financial Advisory Consultant - Top-Tier Business Developer to join our team in New York. We operate globally, addressing complex energy and resource challenges through innovative strategies and sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Generate over $5M in annual consulting revenue by leveraging relationships with C-suite executives in PE firms, banks, and institutional investors.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, translating their strategies into actionable advisory projects aligned with ESG and sustainability standards.
- Drive the growth of Worley Consulting’s Financial Advisory practice through strategic leadership, talent acquisition, and industry representation.
- Lead complex projects ensuring high quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction, including proposal development and project planning.
- Enhance brand visibility through thought leadership activities such as speaking engagements and industry publications.
- Innovate by developing new tools and methodologies for economic and technical modeling in lender advisory services.
- Embed sustainability and safety principles into all activities, supporting clients' net-zero and sustainability goals.
- Travel as necessary for client meetings and project fieldwork.
Qualifications
- 15+ years in Financial Advisory, with expertise in M&A, debt financing, lender advisory, or ESG financing.
- Proven top-tier business development experience, generating over $5M annually.
- Extensive network in New York’s PE, banking, or investment sectors with established C-level relationships.
- Experience at a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, or boutique advisory firm in senior roles.
- Preferred: Knowledge of energy, infrastructure, refining, petrochemicals, renewables, and energy transition financing.
- Education: MBA, BS in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent.
- Certifications like CFA or CPA are advantageous.
