Job summary

Uncommon Schools in New Jersey is seeking a Principal Fellow to develop into a high-impact school leader. This full-time program strategically trains you to co-lead a school alongside an Uncommon Director of Operations, with performance evaluated by the Regional Superintendent of Instruction and the Senior Director of School Support.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of teaching experience with evidence of outstanding student growth.
• At least 1 year of experience coaching, leading, and/or managing teachers.
• Experience teaching core subjects is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Principal Fellow program and progress toward Principal role.
• Co-lead a school alongside an Uncommon Director of Operations.
• Provide instructional leadership and teacher development.
• Engage with families and build a positive school culture.
