Job summary

Uncommon Schools is seeking a Principal Fellow who will co-lead a school alongside an Uncommon Director of Operations and progress toward becoming a full Principal. The Fellow will be immersed in instructional leadership, teacher development, and family engagement while receiving structured feedback and professional development.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of teaching experience with evidence of outstanding student growth and achievement.
• At least 1 year of experience coaching, leading, and/or managing teachers.
• Experience teaching core subjects (Math, ELA, Science, History) is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional leadership and teacher development in schools.
• Co-create and implement school-improvement plans with Directors of Operations.
• Provide high-leverage feedback via classroom observations.
• Support family engagement and school culture initiatives.
