Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Bethpage, NY is seeking a Principal Facilities Representative - Level 3 or a Senior Principal Facilities Representative - Level 4. You will serve as the primary facilities’ technical advisor, manage contractor relationships, and oversee safety, permitting, and budget for complex aerospace facilities projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management and/or Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field with 5 years of related experience; OR a master’s degree with 3 years of related experience
• An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across geographically dispersed locations

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary facilities’ technical advisor to senior management on leased and owned building matters
• Maintain relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors; liaison for maintenance and construction activities
• Interpret building codes, regulations, and procedures; provide guidance to internal teams and subcontractors
• Review contractor work for compliance with drawings, codes, and standards
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls 24/7 and coordinate rapid resolution
• Lead small-to-medium facility modification projects from scope to close-out
• Manage cost estimates, budget forecasts, and status reports; implement preventive-maintenance schedules
• Receive and process work orders; document processes and maintain records
• Prepare and present technical progress reports to stakeholders
• Scheduling of contractor labor; permitting and safety oversight
• Other duties as assigned
