Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead on-site and remote teams, forecast budgets, and manage space utilization across multiple locations. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to align facilities initiatives with business goals.

The candidate will oversee space data accuracy, maintenance programs, and executive briefings, while ensuring safety and compliance across all facilities operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management and/or Planning or related field with sufficient related experience.
• Master’s degree in Facilities Management and/or Planning or related field with related experience.
• PhD with related field and experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong leadership and experience managing teams on-site and remotely.
• Proven ability to meet safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage exempt/non-exempt and contracted staff on-site and remotely.
• Coordinate with internal customers, management, and facilities teams for clear information flow.
• Forecast multi-million dollar indirect budgets and space utilization needs.
• Liaise with business units to interpret space requirements and develop facility strategies.
• Develop campus master plans focusing on utilization, needs, and future outlook.
• Oversee accuracy of space data for office, lab, manufacturing, and warehouse spaces.
• Oversee preventative/predictive maintenance to meet cost and schedule targets.
• Coordinate with landlords on alterations and leasehold improvements when needed.
• Prepare executive-level space facilitation plans and brief executives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
