Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a Principal Facilities Engineer to lead the execution and management of facilities projects, designing, maintaining, and optimizing electrical and mechanical systems within our infrastructure.

You’ll oversee HVAC, plumbing, lighting, power distribution, and safety compliance while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role requires interpreting drawings, developing preventive maintenance plans, preparing SOWs and cost estimates, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in STEM with several years of facilities experience.
• Experience interpreting building and utility drawings and revisions as required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and BIM (Revit).
• Experience with CMMS and project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, operation, repairs and planning of facilities mechanical infrastructure.
• Develop preventive/predictive maintenance plans to reduce costs and improve reliability.
• Prepare SOWs, cost estimates, and coordinate design/construction with vendors.
• Collaborate with architecture/engineering firms and cross-functional teams.
