Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5+ years of facilities experience or MS with 3+ years in STEM.
  • Experience supporting a large Manufacturing Facility.
  • Ability to interpret building and utility drawings and revise as required.
  • Experience developing Preventive and Predictive maintenance initiatives.
  • Experience in Project Management & general Construction processes.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD & Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance, operation, repairs and planning of facilities mechanical infrastructure to ensure safety and uptime.
  • Identify and implement Preventive and Predictive maintenance plans to reduce cost of ownership.
  • Develop strategic replacement plans for outdated equipment for energy efficiency and standardization.
  • Perform problem solving, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Prepare training documents and SOPs for facility processes and equipment.
  • Collaborate with Facility Maintenance groups to improve efficiencies in uptime and reliability.
  • Develop, gather and analyze data; create reports and recommendations for facilities improvements.
  • Conduct engineering assessments and provide guidance on equipment and system upgrades.
  • Interim management of facility projects to ensure proper operations and maintenance of mechanical, fire life safety and controls systems.
  • Evaluate new technologies to reduce operating costs and improve reliability.
  • Prepare Scopes of Work and procurement documents for design/construction services.
  • Generate cost estimates for projects and equipment replacements.
  • Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms on design criteria and drawings.
  • Review designs and challenge assumptions.
  • Identify and scope compliance and cost-saving projects.
  • Provide Dynamic Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
