The Company: An exciting opportunity for a Principal Estimator to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor in the Birmingham area. As a major UK contractor, my client has a diversified workload across different sectors such as Industrial, Commercial, Retail & more. Boasting a strong reputation for providing whole-life solutions, high standards of project delivery, and an ability to innovate. My client enjoys a c£125 million turnover with projects ranging from £10 million to £25 million, covering sectors including Industrial, Logistics, Commercial, Retail & more.

About The Role: As a Principal Estimator, you will play an integral role in tendering work in the Midlands Region.

Your focus will include:

1. Creating and understanding specifications.
2. Building relationships with clients.
3. Pricing form data and proposing these to clients.
4. Completing a range of projects from design through to the construction phase.
5. Reporting and working closely with the Director.

About You:

• Experience presenting quotes and specifications to clients.
• Understanding and creating specifications.
• Experience working on New Build & similar projects.
• Excellent construction industry knowledge.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience within estimating.
• Great technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Live in a commutable distance to Birmingham.
