Job summary

UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) seeks a Principal, Data/Analytics and Benchmarking to build the analytics foundation for enterprise planning and performance decisions. You will define metrics, collect data, develop models and dashboards, and combine internal data with external benchmarks for executive-ready insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in enterprise business operations, data analytics, data science, strategic finance, or related field.
• Experience using data and external benchmarks to diagnose performance and identify drivers.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and data querying, modeling, or visualization tools (SQL/Power BI/Tableau/Python).
• Experience communicating analyses to senior leaders with concise presentations.

Responsibilities

• Define analytics roadmap for enterprise planning and transformation.
• Establish consistent metric definitions and data sources for transparency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Enterprise Systems to reconcile data sources.
• Conduct internal and external benchmarking to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Build models, dashboards, and scorecards showing trends and drivers.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives and visuals.
• Improve data governance and repeatability with functional owners.
• Lead high-priority analyses with rapid, defensible recommendations.
