Job summary

UKG in the United States is seeking a Principal, Data/Analytics and Benchmarking to lead the analytics foundation for enterprise planning and performance management.

You will define metrics, collect data, build models and dashboards, and synthesize internal data with external benchmarks to inform executive decisions.

Collaborate with Finance and Enterprise Systems, drive data governance, and deliver actionable insights under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise data analytics or related field
• Experience using data and external benchmarks to diagnose performance and gaps; develop strategic recommendations
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and data querying, modeling, or visualization tools
• Proficient in using AI to drive automated reporting and dashboarding
• Experience with SaaS/enterprise software or workforce technology and performance metrics
• Experience building benchmarking libraries and executive dashboards used across functions
• Ability to communicate with senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders
• Advanced degree required; MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Define the data, analytics, and benchmarking roadmap for enterprise planning and transformation
• Establish consistent metric definitions and data sources for a transparent fact base
• Collaborate with Enterprise Systems, Finance, and other teams to collect and reconcile data
• Conduct internal and external benchmarking to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
• Build analytical models, dashboards, and scorecards revealing trends and drivers
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives and visuals with clear recommendations
• Partner to resolve data quality issues and strengthen governance for key metrics
• Lead high-priority ad-hoc analyses and deliver defensible recommendations on tight timelines
