Job summary

Infineon Technologies Americas Corp. in Andover, MA seeks a Principal Engineer, Yield & Product to shape the future of technology by merging deep engineering expertise with creative problem solving in a global R&D team.

You will lead test-program development, yield and quality improvements pre- and post-production, drive design-for-test and manufacturability, plan qualifications, and partner with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 10% (domestic/international) is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of semiconductor experience required.
• BSEE or equivalent with deep test/yield background.
• Strong knowledge of test platforms and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create test programs with limits to cover datasheets and robust results.
• Develop solutions for yield and quality issues pre- and post-production.
• Drive DFT and manufacturability improvements and reduce PPM.
• Plan product characterization, qualification testing, and corner-lot planning.
• Monitor qualifications and provide dispositions for failures.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
