Ford Motor Company is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the technical vision for Ford Pro Intelligence. You will design data-intensive SaaS platforms, APIs, and frontends that power telematics and fleet management at scale.

As a senior technical leader, you’ll mentor engineers, shape architecture, collaborate with Product and Design, and drive delivery standards across multiple teams in a dynamic cloud environment using Kotlin, Springboot, React, and GCP.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in technical leadership roles.
• 5+ years designing scalable data-intensive web apps and SaaS products.
• Experience with API development in Java or Kotlin and modern frontends.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive the technical roadmap for large-scale SaaS applications.
• Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence across teams.
• Translate business needs into scalable architectural designs and requirements.
