Elastic is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for the Elasticsearch - Storage Engine team. You will drive the technical vision, architecture, and design of core storage and query engine, working across a globally distributed team to improve performance and scalability.

You will mentor engineers, lead initiatives across organizations, and write idiomatic Java while expanding observability capabilities and data layouts for time-series/log data.

Qualifications
