Ladders seeks a Principal Engineer - Reporting & Insights to shape the architecture and future of reporting capabilities at scale. This remote, US-based role drives trusted data foundations and AI-native experiences across the platform, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical direction with business goals.

You will lead measurements of correctness, scale for 150+ reports, and mentor engineering leaders while guiding multi-year strategies for high-throughput systems.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in technical leadership roles.
• Proven track record in setting multi-year technical strategies.
• Expertise in high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
• Experience leading correctness-critical systems across teams.
• Ability to mentor and grow engineering leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define a 3-year architecture for Reporting & Insights.
• Lead the evolution of data foundations for 150 reports.
• Ensure correctness and trust in reporting systems.
• Design AI-native reporting and insights capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical direction.
