Job summary

Intuit is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to embed with customers, shipping production automation and turning AI pilots into live AI in the general ledger. You will work at the intersection of engineering, applied AI, and enterprise finance, and sit between Core Engineering and Sales.

You will travel up to 70% for pre-sale evaluations and post-sale deployments, focusing on proof-of-value, data readiness, and scalable AI Agent implementations across customer environments.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, technical consulting, or similar customer-embedded roles.
• Deep experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, SQL, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong technical fluency, capable of collaborating with product managers and engineers as a peer.
• Proven track record of multiple deployments under delivery pressure; excellent communication with engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sale: build a working proof-of-value directly in the customer’s data and systems — real integrations and output.
• Lead technical evaluation: architecture reviews, security/compliance, integration feasibility, RFP responses with customer teams.
• Post-sale: deploy customer-specific AI Agent configurations, automate accounting processes, and strengthen internal controls.
