Job summary
QTS Data Centers is seeking a Principal, Business & Financial Analyst - Energy and Utility to drive strategic investment decisions through rigorous analysis and forecasting. You will lead complex cash flow models, assess power requirements, and influence senior stakeholders with clear recommendations.
In this role, you partner with engineering, finance and real estate teams to shape the company's energy initiatives and value creation.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to perform data analytics and financial modeling for large-scale energy projects.
- Experience in risk analysis and assessing strategic investments.
- Strong communication with executive teams and cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence on energy/utility investments within the portfolio.
- Create detailed cash flow models for projects and opportunities.
- Perform cost/benefit analyses to inform capital allocation decisions.
- Collaborate with legal, engineering, finance, and real estate teams.
- Support senior leadership with data-driven recommendations and dashboards.
- Lead cross-functional analyses to evaluate portfolio risk and value creation.
