Job summary

Quality Technology Services in Ashburn, VA seeks a Principal, Business & Financial Analyst - Energy and Utility to guide energy initiatives with data-driven decisions. You will perform complex analyses and develop financial models to support critical investments in data center energy solutions.

You will partner with internal and external stakeholders, review contracts, and deliver insights to executive leadership to drive value and strategic growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of business/financial analysis experience.
• Deep knowledge of energy markets and grid operations.
• Experience with data center energy solutions and procurement.
• Proficiency with Excel, Tableau and Power BI for modeling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence and assess value and risk within the portfolio.
• Build detailed cost and cash flow models for power needs.
• Perform financial analysis with cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with legal to review contracts and documents.
• Support senior management with reports and strategic analyses.
• Prepare reports on power procurement opportunities and trends.
