Lanteris Space Systems, a subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, seeks a Principal Embedded Flight Software Engineer to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. The role may be performed remotely within the U.S. with periodic visits to Palo Alto.

You will design and implement embedded RTOS software, develop flight software architectures, verification plans, and lifecycle processes for spaceflight projects including Artemis and Power Propulsion Element. Travel to the office may be required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, CS, or related field.
• 15 years of software development experience.
• Embedded C++ on multicore architectures.
• VxWorks and cFS experience.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement software for embedded RTOS.
• Develop architectures, requirements, interfaces, and designs for flight software.
• Develop software verification plans, unit tests, and procedures.
• Perform software product life cycle management.
• Develop, tailor, and deploy software processes, tools, and metrics.
• Serve as SME for software domains and processes.
