Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, CS, or related field; four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Embedded C++ programming on multicore architectures.
• Experience with VxWorks and cFS.
• Willingness to travel to Palo Alto as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software for embedded RTOS.
• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces, and designs for flight software systems.
• Develop software verification plans, unit level and open loop test suites, and procedures; document results.
• Perform software product life cycle management.
• Develop, select, tailor, and deploy software processes, tools, and metrics.
• Serve as SME for software domains, processes, and system-specific issues.
