Job summary

Lynx Software Technologies, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX (or Palmdale, CA) seeks a Principal Software Engineer with ArduPilot experience to lead embedded software for autonomous flight systems.

You will develop, integrate, and test software for safety‑critical platforms and work across multi‑site teams to deliver mission‑critical solutions. The role requires a senior engineer with strong C/C++, Java, Python, and Bash skills, plus experience with ArduPilot/PX4, Git, and both Linux/Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, CS, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of software development in C, C++, Java, Python, and Bash for embedded systems.
• Experience with autonomous flight systems using ArduPilot/PX4.
• Experience with UAS/UAV operations and integration.
• Proficient with Git for source control and collaboration.
• Knowledge of robotics, embedded system design, and flight software.
• Proficient with Linux and Windows development environments.
• Ability to obtain Secret DoD security clearance.
• 25% travel.
