Job summary

Lynx Software Technologies, Inc. in Palmdale, CA, or Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Principal Software Engineer with ArduPilot experience. This senior role requires developing, integrating, and testing embedded software for defense platforms, with a focus on autonomy and flight systems.

Travel up to 25% and eligibility for a Secret DoD security clearance are required. The position offers a compensation range of $160,000 to $200,000 plus a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of software development experience in C, C++, Java, Python, and Bash for embedded systems.
• Experience developing autonomous flight systems using ArduPilot and/or PX4.
• Experience with UAS/UAV operations, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with Git for source control and collaborative development.
• Understanding robotics, autonomous systems, flight software, sensor integration, and embedded system design.
• Proficient with Linux and Windows development environments.
• Ability to obtain Secret DoD security clearance and 25% travel.
