Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ is hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer 3 for Automated Test Equipment (ATE). You will join our EGSE team responsible for design, test, and sustainment of ATE hardware used during launch vehicle integration.

Responsibilities include system-level analysis and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver reliable test equipment. Requires 5 years with a Bachelor’s in Engineering or 3 years with a Master’s in Engineering; U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years with a Bachelor’s in Engineering or 3 years with a Master’s in Engineering.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret Clearance at time of application.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Design, Test, or Integration experience with EGSE or similar equipment.
• Experience with processes applicable to operating EGSE in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, and test of complex system-level designs for EGSE and test support equipment.
• Prepare and present engineering materials for Design Reviews.
• Study basic design concepts and criteria for complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Apply engineering principles to adapt heritage features to new designs.
• Provide quality internal and external customer service and support team decisions.
