Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Ground Support Equipment Engineer at the Level 3 or Level 4 tier for our Space Sector in Dulles, VA. This 100% onsite role focuses on developing hardware and software for automated test equipment to validate flight hardware.

You will work closely with hardware and software teams and interface with subsystem engineers to meet rigorous test requirements. Qualifications include a STEM degree with 5+ years (Level 3) or 8+ years (Level 4), US citizenship, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of experience (Level 3).
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of experience (Level 4).
• US Citizenship required.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW or C/C++ LabWindows CVI; ability to code independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware and software for automated test equipment to validate flight hardware.
• Interface with subsystem engineers to obtain design requirements and test plans.
• Create documentation, test procedures, and certification for CTE/ATE systems.
• Support debugging and integration in lab environments across UUT hardware and electronics.
