Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer Level 3/4 to join our Test Engineering Organization. The role collaborates with EGSE, design, and manufacturing teams to develop test plans, execute tests, and troubleshoot hardware modules.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and circuitry.
• Strong analytical/diagnostic skills for solving technical challenges.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work various shifts, including after hours and weekends.
• 5/3/1 years depending on degree levels as described in the postings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., EGSE, Design Engineering, Manufacturing) and participate in design reviews.
• Develop Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) requirements and test plans.
• Oversee testing and troubleshooting of flight and non-flight CCAs and electronic modules.
• Analyze test results and drive resolution of anomalies or failures.
• Mentor Gilbert, AZ-based Test Engineers and share troubleshooting expertise.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing and yield.
