Description

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a team working to improve lives globally through medical technology innovation. Reporting to the Director of Electrical Engineering, the role involves providing technical leadership, oversight, targeted engineering execution, and supporting business development activities. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership to internal resources and managing external development partners.
  • Leading electrical engineering projects through all phases of medical product development.
  • Ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and standards per client’s QMS.
  • Developing the team to meet or exceed business and personal goals.
  • Providing leadership, training, guidance, and support to electrical engineering peers.
  • Offering feedback during project quoting and planning, and participating in business development by providing technical expertise for proposals and sales.
  • Functioning as the electrical engineering lead on product development programs.
  • Managing and reporting on metrics that measure the technical team’s impact.
  • Collaborating with peers to identify and implement capability improvements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $40.00 - $85.00/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, employee assistance, and PTO. Eligibility and specifics depend on employment terms.
