Akkodis is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer - Remote role for a 6+ Months Contract with one of our industry-leading clients in United States. The candidate must have knowledge to design, analyze, and maintain circuitry used to drive three-phase DC electric motors and large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for manufacturing, power generation, or transmission.

Pay Range: $55.00 to $65.00/Hour. on W2 ONLY (Pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).

This is a 6-month contract with potential extension depending on performance and project needs.

We seek a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will design, analyze, and maintain circuitry for three-phase DC electric motors and large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for manufacturing, power generation, or transmission. The role involves using computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze circuitry for three-phase DC electric motors.
• Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment or machinery.
• Apply electrical engineering principles and techniques to achieve project goals.
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software.
• Perform electrical simulations and designs.
• Conduct worst-case performance electrical analysis considering temperature effects, end-of-life performance, radiation effects, etc.
• Review and develop performance specifications.
• Collaborate with external vendors.
• Provide consultation on complex projects and serve as a top-level contributor/specialist.
• Perform a variety of tasks with creativity and autonomy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 6-8+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in electrical engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong judgment and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and report to management.
