Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Principal Digital Design Engineer to design and analyze digital electronic modules and CCAs for missile applications. The role involves collaboration with the EDP team on high-speed digital electronics, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces while ensuring robust verification and integration.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering digital circuit design experience with at least 2 of: development of electronic circuit designs, system/unit design, design concept to hardware development and verification, PCB design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and CCAs for Missile applications.
• Collaborate with engineers to create high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and multi-processor designs.
• Handle hardware designs with processors, FPGA, memory, and interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART.
