Principal Digital Engineer-Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect

Job Description:

As a Principal Digital Engineer specializing in Teamcenter PLM Solution Architecture, you will own the design and implementation of comprehensive solutions for Teamcenter applications. You will contribute to fostering an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diverse perspectives, ensuring all team members can thrive and contribute their best work.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Support application teams in Teamcenter upgrades.
2. Assist in migrating Teamcenter clients from RAC to Active Workspace.
3. Collaborate on IT software projects using the Teamcenter platform.
4. Share expertise on customizing Teamcenter efficiently with project teams.
5. Identify and propose optimizations for existing Teamcenter customizations.
6. Learn and teach design and quality standards for Teamcenter customization, ensuring governance.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Teamcenter UA products, including Engineering Data Management, BOM Management Workflow, BOM Management, Active Workspace configuration and customization, Teamcenter architecture, and Data Model configuration.
• Skills in mapping business requirements to PLM/Teamcenter frameworks.
• Experience in Teamcenter solution design for both client and server, and integration with third-party applications such as SAP4Hana, NX, and ECAD tools.
• 15-18 years of relevant domain experience.
• Experience in installing and configuring 2-Tier and 4-Tier clients, file management servers, dispatcher servers, and CAD integration.
• Basic problem-solving skills for resolving application issues and conducting root cause analysis.
• Expertise in Teamcenter client-server customization and SOA customization.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and TC server-side (ITK & SOA) customization.
• Experience in declarative UI configuration (Active Workspace) and customization.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and build-to-run processes.
• Strong customer focus and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to acquire & maintain US secret clearance is advantageous.
