Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal DevSecOps Software Engineer to join the Resilient Connectivity Products team. You will design and deploy CI/CD for embedded systems, work on cutting‑edge cryptography and computing architectures, and ensure secure, resilient software across air‑gapped environments.

• Advanced Bash and Python proficiency.
• GitLab and runners experience.
• Containerization with Docker/Podman/Kubernetes.
• Advanced Linux experience.
• Artifact management with Artifactory.
• IP networking knowledge.
• Active U.S. government security clearance (transferable).
• STEM degree with 8+ years experience or advanced degree with 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex automation pipelines for embedded systems in air‑gapped environments.
• Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning using SAST/DAST.
• Build and maintain containerized environments and applications.
• Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable infra.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate DevSecOps tools and technologies.
• Build and maintain dashboards for observability and performance reporting.
• Mentor and advocate DevSecOps best practices across the organization.
