Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Software Engineer in El Segundo, California. You will be part of a dedicated DevSecOps team developing advanced networks for military applications, ensuring personnel safety and connectivity.

Ideal candidates will have a deep programming background in Bash and Python, experience with containerization tools, and strong Linux proficiency. The position offers competitive benefits and relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Active U.S. government-issued security clearance is preferred.
• Experience developing in air-gapped, on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop DevSecOps pipelines for embedded systems in air-gapped environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams.
• Automate testing, deployment, and software artifact generation in pipelines.

Skills

Proficient programming experience in Bash

Proficient programming experience in Python

Experience with GitLab and GitLab Runners

Experience with Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes

Proficient in Linux environments

Understanding of IP networking and protocols
