Job summary

Torch Technologies in Kettering, OH is seeking a General/Interdisciplinary Engineer, Principal to support the MRO program. This on-site role requires leading engineering efforts across software and systems, interfacing with Air Force stakeholders and industry partners to ensure compliant, capable solutions.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, a Master’s degree with 7+ years or a Bachelor’s with 11+ years, a DoD clearance, and experience in SAFe, DevSecOps, and ERP/Cloud environments.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required; security clearance (T3/Secret) preferred.
• Master's degree with 7+ years related experience or Bachelor's with 11+ years.
• Expert in software and systems engineering and standards.
• Experience with AF SEAM/SEP and DoD policies.
• Knowledge of Agile SAFe and DevSecOps.
• Ability to oversee junior/mid-level personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-cutting engineering support across the MROi IPO.
• Interact with stakeholders, PMs, customers, and vendors.
• Develop briefs, reports, analyses, and recommendations.
• Maintain relationships with CloudOne, Oracle, and ERP programs.
• Support program baseline management and system tests.
