Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. in Kettering, OH seeks a General/Interdisciplinary Engineer, Principal to support the MRO program. This role provides cross‑cutting engineering support, engages with customers and vendors, and advances enterprise IT solutions within a DISA/DoD context, onsite Dayton area.

Requirements include U.S. Citizenship with a Master’s degree and 7+ years (or a Bachelor's with 11+ years) in relevant fields, strong systems engineering expertise, and SAFe/DevSecOps experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship; advanced degree with 7+ years or bachelor’s with 11+ years in relevant fields.
• Expert in software and systems engineering; ability to oversee junior/mid-level personnel.
• Experience with AF SEAM/SEP, DoW 5000-series policies and SAFe/DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-cutting engineering technical and functional support across the MROi IP0.
• Interact with stakeholders, program managers, and industry counterparts; prepare briefings and analyses.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and ERP-related partners; manage baselines.
• Lead reviews of program documentation and ensure system performance meets requirements.
