Trane Technologies is seeking a Principal Mechanical Architect for LiquidStack Cooling Solutions. This on‑site role leads electrical design of coolant distribution units and thermal management for data centers, guiding concepts through production with global teams.

You will ensure safety, reliability, and compliance while applying power architecture, motor control expertise, and manufacturability improvements. On‑site in Haslet, TX, with travel and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
• Experience across full product lifecycle from concept to production.
• Deep knowledge of VFDs, high/low voltage components, and harmonic mitigation.
• Background in HVAC, data centers, or industrial equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Own electrical distribution architecture for CDU platforms and thermal solutions.
• Design electrical systems with redundancy, safety interlocks, and control systems.
• Select and integrate VFDs, motor controls, instrumentation, and telemetry.
• Establish CAD/drawing standards and BOM conventions.
• Lead designs from concept to release, perform short‑circuit and voltage drop calcs.
• Collaborate with global teams to integrate sensors, fail‑safe devices, and validation.
• Work with PLM/ERP and ensure compliance with UL508A, NEC, NFPA, CE, OSHA.
