Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Software Engineer (Level 1 CNO Analyst/Programmer) to design and develop secure software tools. You will work across Windows and UNIX environments, contributing to end-to-end data flow and software readiness reviews.

The role requires a current TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance and strong C/C++ or Python programming skills, with experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering with 4 years of experience; Master's with 2 years; PhD with 0 year.
• Current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance and willingness to obtain another polygraph.
• Experience in Python or C/C++ programming; Troubleshooting and debugging systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides custom software design and development of specialized tools and techniques.
• Designs end-to-end data flow and tasking into the tools developed.
• Participates in design, code, and software readiness reviews; programs in C, C++, Java, Python, or other languages; develops Windows and UNIX applications.
