Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Principal Cyber Software Engineer (Level 1 CNO Analyst/Programmer) to design and develop secure software tools at multiple sites including San Antonio, TX. The role requires a current TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance and strong C/C++, Python, and Java skills.

Primary work locations include Annapolis Junction MD, San Antonio TX, Aurora CO, and Carey NC. Expect competitive salary, benefits, and occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering with 4 years of experience.
• Master's degree with 2 years of experience.
• PhD with 0 year of experience.
• Current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance.
• Experience in Python or C/C++ programming.
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops end-to-end data flow and tasking into the tools developed.
• Provides custom software design and development of specialized tools and techniques.
• Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio/.NET environments; UNIX applications using make files.
• Provide/author documentation and participate in design & software readiness reviews.
