We are seeking a Principal CPI Analyst IV with immediate availability to support Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) and Marine Forces Storage Command (MFSC) under the Coordinated Secondary Reparable (SECREP) Management (CSM) and Strategic Logistics Services (SLS) program. This key‑personnel role delivers senior‑level CPI leadership, metrics governance, and process modernization critical to achieving enterprise‑wide SECREP accuracy, readiness, and logistics performance.
As MFSC’s lead CPI specialist, the Principal Analyst provides analytical rigor, data‑driven decision support, and structured CPI execution across all Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), Marine Corps Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), and MARCORLOGCOM sites. This position leads enterprise metrics analysis, facilitates the SECREP Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT), develops Courses of Action (COAs) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), conducts root‑cause investigations, and drives modernization of Marine Corps SECREP business processes in direct alignment with the Performance Work Statement.
Through senior‑level coordination, Lean Six Sigma mastery, and deep expertise in Marine Corps logistics systems, the Principal CPI Analyst IV ensures the CSM/SLS enterprise remains aligned with readiness objectives, achieves continuous improvement, and delivers accurate, reliable performance across the entire SECREP lifecycle.

- A salary range of $131,750 to $155,000 is available for the position. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, education, certifications, technical qualifications, security clearance, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
Continuous Process Improvement Leadership
- Lead CPI activities using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve SECREP management, supply chain processes, and operational performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), DMAIC/PDCA process analysis, waste elimination, and pilot test planning/execution.
- Develop, refine, standardize, and implement enterprise level CPI processes that maintain data integrity and optimize logistics operations.
Metrics Governance & Enterprise Analytics
- Lead development, maintenance, validation, and briefing of the Enterprise CSM Metrics Scorecard, including statistical summaries, trend analysis, and forecasting models.
- Collect and analyze SECREP metrics (demands, R ratings, inventory levels, allowances, ERQ, fill rate, IMA washout/repair cycles, backorders, redistributions, MRP impacts).
- Use advanced statistical tools—hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, DOE to assess performance and project future trends.
SECREP WIPT Facilitation & Executive Briefing/Documentation Support
- Facilitate SECREP WIPT sessions; capture business/action items; maintain and update CSM POA&Ms; deliver enterprise Scorecard briefs to senior stakeholders.
- Prepare policy inputs, position papers, and documentation supporting strategic decision making and Marine Corps process modernization.
- Produce high-quality briefings, reports, documentation, and analysis packages supporting CPI initiatives, metrics reviews, and strategic logistics leadership.
Process Evaluation & Modernization
- Analyze CSM business architecture; conduct RIP visits; collect process data; develop COAs and POA&Ms to eliminate deficiencies and improve performance.
- Support development/modification of SECREP policies, SOPs, and modernization initiatives aligned with LSMID, ROS, LIS, and DoD wholesale processes.
Advanced Systems & Data Integration
- Develop and maintain analytical tools extracting data from key Marine Corps systems: GCSS-MC, APSR, Navy ERP, MDR, FEDLOG, L DART, Catalyst, OBIEE, ESTART, and others.
- Ensure strong understanding of SECREP lifecycle processes, including APSR accountability, exchange/disposition rules, IMA induction, MRP, deployed support, IIP, LIS triangle processes, and wholesale/retail SECREP sourcing.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Enterprise Coordination
- Maintain communication with RIP POCs, CSM teams, sources of supply, and WIPT stakeholders to validate data, monitor issues, and synchronize improvement actions.
- Provide CPI and metrics expertise to Government leadership and support coordinated strategic planning across MFSC and MARCORLOGCOM.
Security Clearance: US Citizenship required; must possess a Secret clearance.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Statistics, or related field.
- Valid Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification held for at least five consecutive years.
- 10–12 years leading CPI and process improvement initiatives across logistics enterprises.
- 5–6 years of CPI experience supporting Marine Corps or DoD Class IX/SECREP operations, including applying advanced statistical methods to optimize supply chain performance and forecast logistics trends.
- Comprehensive understanding of CPI documentation and administrative requirements.
- Expert ability to analyze complex problems, gather relevant data, identify key factors, and recommend effective solutions.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute complex CPI tasks independently and as part of integrated teams.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience briefing general officers, senior executives, or enterprise level logistics boards.
- Proficiency with logistics systems, modeling tools, and decision support applications.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and technical writing skills.
