We are seeking a Functional Analyst IV (Strategic Planning) with immediate availability to support the Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) and Marine Forces Storage Command (MFSC) under the Coordinated SECREP Management (CSM) and Strategic Logistics Services (SLS) program. This key-personnel role provides enterprise-level strategic planning, logistics process analysis, policy development support, and senior-level advisory services that directly enhance Marine Corps readiness and modernization objectives. As the program’s lead strategic planning analyst, this role ensures the CSM/SLS mission remains aligned with enterprise logistics architecture, Marine Corps policy, and the broader modernization efforts across the Marine Corps Logistics Enterprise.
The Functional Analyst IV delivers advanced analytical expertise, facilitates strategic initiatives, develops high-quality decision support products, and engages with Government leadership to shape logistics policies, forecasting, allowance setting, and sustainment strategies. Through expert analysis and coordination, this role strengthens enterprise planning, enhances SECREP lifecycle management, and advances long-term logistics effectiveness across all supported commands.

Location: This position is located in Albany, GA.
- A salary range of $107,525 to $126,500 is available for the position. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, education, certifications, technical qualifications, security clearance, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Logistics Analysis
- Analyze Marine Corps supply chain processes and logistics architecture; identify strategic level Courses of Action (COAs) to improve efficiency, readiness, and SECREP lifecycle performance.
- Apply detailed knowledge of strategic planning, metrics management, forecasting, allowance setting, backorder management, and GCSS-MC integration to support modernization efforts.
Policy Development & Modernization Support
- Develop recommendations for updates and modifications to Marine Corps logistics policy, CSM processes, and SLS initiatives.
- Support Government leadership with analysis packages, position papers, and policy input that inform enterprise logistics strategy.
Strategic Initiative Facilitation & Change Management
- Provide structured change management support to Government customers implementing new logistics processes, systems, or policies.
- Facilitate logistics planning forums, metrics reviews, or modernization workshops as required.
Operational Data Analysis & Process Evaluation
- Conduct detailed analysis of supply chain performance data to identify constraints, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support strategic planning for inventory levels, SECREP allowance setting, demand forecasting, and sustainment planning.
- Develop high-quality briefings, documents, strategic communications, and decision support materials for senior Government staff.
- Lead or support strategic conferences, working sessions, planning meetings, and modernization focused engagements.
Documentation & Reporting
- Produce trip reports, planning documents, strategic assessments, and other communication products required by Government leadership.
- Ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant with required formats and schedules.
Security Clearance: US Citizenship required; must possess a Secret clearance.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Statistics, or related field.
- 5-6 years supporting military wholesale and retail logistics activities involving reparable/consumable management.
- 5-6 years leading strategic process re-engineering, performance management, and logistics improvement efforts.
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain architecture, inventory forecasting, allowance setting, and sustainment planning.
- Experience training personnel, developing curriculum and instruction, and leading implementation of re-engineered processes.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Advanced experience with GCSS-MC functionality, logistics analytics, and performance metric development.
- Expert analytical ability to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, interpret logistics trends, and formulate strategic recommendations.
- Strong ability to plan, organize, and execute complex strategic tasks independently and within team environments.
- Proficiency in briefing senior leadership, preparing professional documentation, and communicating effectively across diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of administrative, documentation, and performance management requirements associated with logistics program execution.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and technical writing skills.
