Job summary

IPolarity LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Sr. SAP EWM Architect to lead a cross-functional team through end-to-end SAP EWM implementations.

The role requires deep expertise in integrating EWM with MES, S/4 modules, and various automation systems, with a focus on highly regulated environments. You will drive blueprinting, design reviews, client liaison, and delivery governance, guiding teams, creating proposals, and managing change across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• At least 2-4 end-to-end SAP EWM implementations.
• Experience integrating EWM with automated systems (ASRS, AGV, LIFT, conveyors).
• Experience in MES and S4 modules (Manufacturing, QM).
• Strong knowledge of Inventory Management and WM areas.
• Interfaces with non-ECC systems via PI, ALE, REST.
• Ability to gather requirements and prepare functional specs.
• Familiar with GXP and SOX in regulated environments.
• Relocation available for onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of functional and ABAP consultants for project delivery.
• Propose solutions and guide blueprinting sessions.
• Deliver end-to-end solutions with change management from req gathering to hyper care.
• Hands-on work on EWM CRs and deploy to production.
• Coordinate with satellite systems/vendors for integrated client solution.
• Present solutions in architect meetings and obtain approvals.
• Liaise with client business teams and provide advisory.
• Interact with customers daily to build confidence.
• Prepare proposals and effort estimates for upcoming projects.
• Track deliverables and report to customers.
• Propose best EWM solutions.

Mandatory skills

• Should have completed at least have 2 - 4 end to end implementation projects and at least 2 where performed as Solution Architect at client location. Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP EWM project implementations
• Must have experience in integrating EWM with automated systems like ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers etc.
• Must have experience in integration of EWM with MES and S4 modules like Manufacturing and Quality Management
• Must have good knowledge in following IM areas: Inventory Management, Stock transfers, Special stocks, Stock types, Physical Inventory, Account Determination and Valuation
• Must have good knowledge in following WM areas: WM Master Data, Inbound / Outbound delivery processing, Transfer Orders, Cycle Counts, Inventory reconciliation, Shipping and Transportation Management, Mobile Data Entry and RF units
• Must have good knowledge in following EWM areas: Integration with ECC, Inbound Processing Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory,
• RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration, Kitting, Cold chain management etc
• Good Knowledge in integration aspects with other modules SD, MM, PP and QM
• Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain
• Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare requirement document, functional specifications.
• Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool and testing tool
• Handled post go live critical issue resolving till stabilization.n
• Must have an experience working in an environment utilizing number of non ECC systems like MES, WES using interfaces such as PI, ALE, REST etc.
• Basic understanding of custom code along with basic debugging skills.
