Job summary

Ampstek in Indianapolis is hiring an SAP EWM Solution Architect to lead end-to-end implementations and guide client engagements. You will coordinate across teams, integrate with MES/S4 modules, and shape deployment blueprints for success.

Role requires proposing solutions, overseeing architecture from design to go-live, and ensuring regulatory compliance where applicable. Heavy emphasis on cross-system interfaces (PI, REST) and robust delivery oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience in at least 2 end-to-end SAP EWM implementations and 2 as Solution Architect at client site.
• Strong track record integrating EWM with automated systems (ASRS, AGV, LIFT, conveyors).
• Proficient with EWM integration with MES and S4 modules (Manufacturing, QM).
• Deep knowledge of Inventory and Warehouse Management, including stock types and valuation.
• Familiarity with SD/MM/PP/QM and ECC integration for end-to-end processes.
• Understanding of GXP/SOX in regulated environments; able to author functional specs.

Job description

• Lead the team for successful project delivery
• Responsible for proposing solutions and guide the team members for blue printing sessions.
• Responsible for integrating with other satellite systems/vendors to comeup with an integrated solution for the client.
• Presenting the solution in architect/design meeting and getting it approved for deployment
• Responsible for liaising with client business teams and advising the client.
• Coordinate with customer on day to day basis and win customer confidence.
• Responsible for preparing proposals and effort estimates for upcoming projects.
• Regular tracking of team deliverables and reporting to customer.
• Propose the best possible solution in the industry in EWM domain

Mandatory skills:

• Should have completed at least have 2 - 4 end to end implementation projects and at least 2 where performed as Solution Architect at client location. Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP EWM project implementations
• Must have experience in integrating EWM with automated systems like ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers etc.
• Must have experience in integration of EWM with MES and S4 modules like Manufacturing and Quality Management
• Must have good knowledge in following IM areas: Inventory Management, Stock transfers, Special stocks, Stock types, Physical Inventory, Account Determination and Valuation
• Must have good knowledge in following WM areas: WM Master Data, Inbound / Outbound delivery processing, Transfer Orders, Cycle Counts, Inventory reconciliation, Shipping and Transportation Management, Mobile Data Entry and RF units
• Must have good knowledge in following EWM areas: Integration with ECC, Inbound Processing Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory,
• Good Knowledge in integration aspects with other modules SD, MM, PP and QM
• Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain
• Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare requirement document, functional specifications.
• Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool and testing tool
• Handled post go live critical issue resolving till stabilization.
• Must have an experience working in an environment utilizing number of non ECC systems like MES, WES using interfaces such as PI, ALE, REST etc.
• Basic understanding of custom code along with basic debugging skills.
