Job summary

Qualis1 Inc. seeks a Sr. SAP EWM Architect to lead a hybrid team for an Indianapolis project. You will drive architectural decisions, align with client business teams, and oversee end-to-end SAP EWM delivery across interfaces with MES, ECC, and S4 environments.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience, heavy involvement in design reviews, and coordination with vendors to ensure a cohesive solution. Hybrid work in Indianapolis is expected.

Qualifications

• Led 2–4 end-to-end SAP EWM implementations and served as Solution Architect at client location.
• Experience integrating EWM with automated systems like ASRS, AGV, LIFT, conveyors, and AMR.
• Experience integrating EWM with MES and S4 modules such as Manufacturing and Quality Management.
• Strong knowledge of Inventory Management, stock transfers, special stocks and valuation.
• Strong knowledge of WM: inbound/outbound, TOs, cycle counts, RF/mobile data entry.
• Deep EWM knowledge: ECC integration, RF transactions, HU management, production integration.
• Experience with SD, MM, PP, QM integrations and GXP/SOX in regulated environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into documents and functional specs.
• Familiar with release governance, incident tracking, and testing tools.
• Experience handling post-go-live issues and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of functional and ABAP consultants for successful project delivery.
• Propose solutions and guide blue-printing sessions with the client.
• Deliver end-to-end solutions from requirements to deployment and hyper-care.
• Hands-on work on EWM change requests and production deployments within change control.
• Coordinate with satellite systems/vendors for integrated client solutions.
• Present solutions in architecture/design meetings and obtain approvals.
• Liaise with client business teams and provide advisory support.
• Interact with customers daily to build confidence and trust.
• Prepare proposals and effort estimates for upcoming projects.
• Track team deliverables and reporting to the customer; propose best EWM solutions.

Duration: 6 Months

Detailed JD:

• Lead the team for successful project delivery
• Responsible for proposing solutions and guide the team members for blue printing sessions.
• Responsible for integrating with other satellite systems/vendors to comeup with an integrated solution for the client.
• Presenting the solution in architect/design meeting and getting it approved for deployment
• Responsible for liaising with client business teams and advising the client.
• Coordinate with customer on day to day basis and win customer confidence.
• Responsible for preparing proposals and effort estimates for upcoming projects.
• Regular tracking of team deliverables and reporting to customer.
• Propose the best possible solution in the industry in EWM domain.

Mandatory skills:

• Should have completed at least have 2 - 4 end to end implementation projects and at least 2 where performed as Solution Architect at client location. Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP EWM project implementations
• Must have experience in integrating EWM with automated systems like ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers etc.
• Must have experience in integration of EWM with MES and S4 modules like Manufacturing and Quality Management
• Must have good knowledge in following IM areas: Inventory Management, Stock transfers, Special stocks, Stock types, Physical Inventory, Account Determination and Valuation
• Must have good knowledge in following WM areas: WM Master Data, Inbound / Outbound delivery processing, Transfer Orders, Cycle Counts, Inventory reconciliation, Shipping and Transportation Management, Mobile Data Entry and RF units.
• Must have good knowledge in following EWM areas: Integration with ECC, Inbound Processing Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration, Kitting, Cold chain management etc
• Good Knowledge in integration aspects with other modules SD, MM, PP and QM
• Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain
• Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare requirement document, functional specifications.
• Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool and testing tool
• Handled post go live critical issue resolving till stabilization.
• Must have an experience working in an environment utilizing number of non ECC systems like MES, WES using interfaces such as PI, ALE, REST etc.
• Basic understanding of custom code along with basic debugging skills.
