Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Detroit is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Computer Vision to define the strategy, roadmap, and measurable success of our CV Platform. You will own lifecycle of core AI models and work with internal leaders to align platform requirements and drive adoption across the portfolio.

You will partner with teams to design APIs, data pipelines, and edge-to-cloud solutions, ensuring scalable model serving and high impact outcomes for customers and operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in a technical domain.
• Deep understanding of computer vision and machine learning, ML lifecycle (MLOps), data platforms.
• Experience defining product vision, strategy, and metrics (KPIs/OKRs).
• Strong leadership and ability to influence senior leaders across organizations.
• Customer discovery to understand internal/external needs and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform, aligned with business goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams to capture platform requirements (APIs, capabilities, scalability).
• Write MRDs, PRDs, and user stories for core capabilities and CV products.
• Own lifecycle for central CV models and foundational AI infrastructure.
• Define and track platform adoption, performance, latency, and cost metrics.
• Conduct market research and customer discovery to identify opportunities.
