Responsibilities

Statistical Analysis:

  1. Collaborate with other statistical colleagues and study personnel to provide input to statistical analysis plans, write reports and communicate results, assist/respond to regulatory queries.
  2. Assist in and/or be accountable for selecting statistical methods for data analysis, authoring the corresponding sections of the analysis plan, and conducting the actual analysis once a reporting database is created.
  3. Collaborate with data management in the planning and implementation of data quality assurance plans.
  4. Maintain proficiency with respect to SAS/R programming and statistical methodology and in applying new and varied methods.
  5. Effectively justify methods selected and implement previously outlined analysis plans.
  6. Conduct peer-review of work products from statistical colleagues.
  7. Effectively use current technologies and available tools for conducting the clinical trial analysis.
  8. Responsible for assisting in the communication of study results via regulatory submissions, and manuscripts, as well as for communicating one-on-one with key customers.

Therapeutic Area and Systems Knowledge:

  1. Understand relevant disease states in order to enhance the level of customer focus and collaboration.
  2. Ensure replication of tools and systems, where applicable and stay informed of technological advances.

Regulatory and Quality Compliance:

  1. Perform work in full compliance with assigned curriculum(s) and will be responsible for following applicable corporate, medical, local, and departmental policies, procedures, processes, and training.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or MSPH with concentration in Statistics or Biostatistics, or relevant areas of science
  2. 3+ years of statistical analysis/programming experience

  1. Proficiency in statistical programming languages/software such as SAS, R, Spotfire, etc.
  2. Interpersonal/teamwork skills for effective interactions
  3. Technical growth and application with solid understanding of statistics and statistical software
  4. Self-management skills with a focus on results for prompt and accurate completion of competing deliverables
  5. Creativity and innovation
  6. Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail.
  7. Data analysis, technology, and systems expertise

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $64,500 - $182,600. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
