Job summary

ABAG/MTC is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead BayREN’s Codes & Standards Program and perform management tasks for BayREN and the Energy Section. The role involves working with local governments, coordinating trainings, and overseeing budgets and contracts. The position offers on-site work with hybrid options.

The successful candidate will have experience with energy codes, program management, and cross‑agency collaboration, plus strong communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Program Design and Management: ensure activities align with goals and assess performance.
• Oversee data handling, maintenance, and reporting on program metrics.
• Communication and Engagement: facilitate meetings and communicate clearly.
• Staff Oversight: provide leadership, performance reviews, and resource planning.
• Consultant Management: hire and manage multiple consultants for BayREN activities.
