Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a highly skilled Principal Machinist to join our Centennial, Colorado facility. This role focuses on machining consumable DMLS and metal 3D-printed components using 3-axis and 5-axis CNC centers, with emphasis on aerospace-grade quality and process control.

You will develop fixtures, program on-line and off-line, and ensure strict adherence to GD&T, blueprints, and safety standards while collaborating with a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of CNC machining experience in turbine components
• Experience machining castings, forging, or 3D printed hardware with 5 axis CNC and EDM
• High School Diploma
• Experience with SolidCAM, MasterCam or NX
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and MS Office (2 years programming)
• Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation skills
• Experience with turning/lathes
• Some experience with Nickel alloys (HRA)
• OKUMA and Makino multi-axis CNC equipment preferred
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Setup and run 3-axis and 5-axis CNC centers and CMM equipment
• Develop machining fixtures for complex aerospace components
• Program CNC equipment on-line and off-line
• Quote machining work for internal and external customers
• Maintain accurate production records
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in the shop
• Identify opportunities to add value to the organization
• Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment
• Ensure EH&S and quality compliance
